I would spend the weekend rolling round on your drive whilst someone pours oil on you too, just to get right into the spirit of things. I would get the viscous coupling checked too, my sister-in-law's one died and it was quite a pain.

It's that sort of thing that I struggle with. I don't know if something gets lost in the translation, maybe the 8mm poles are upgraded rather than 8mm itself being an upgrade! 400g is a hell of a weight saving!
