Yes I did get very lucky! Came with the matching firesteel too. Yes I agree with you on the colour combination. I like Ed Stafford a lot but my reason to purchase was not as a fan boy, but the combination of desert ironwood and blue is stunning I think. I want a matching nomad now

Yes I would be happy with AEB-L too. I know Ben Orford frequently uses this steel as well

Yes I own Alan wood knives and I have heard very good things about guy too. With regards steel, I was thinking of something like rwl34 stainless
