    USGI canteen and cup in osprey pouch?

    How well does a USGI canteen and cup fit in an osprey water bottle pouch? I know the osprey water bottle is larger, so I was thinking it might be too loose. I like the idea of the flip top cover, vs the Y yoke closure of the current US canteen carrier. Thanks.

    One thing to consider, if you're eating it more than occasionally. Like it's relative spinach it has a high oxalate content, so if you've ever had a kidney stone it's best avoided (otherwise it's fine).
