Ah, thankyou. I've been fumbling about like my Mother trying to post photos!
A deer Ked, I'll read up on them thanks.
The others were ticks, I work in a hospital and some of the consultants that I know were queuing up to pull them out my chest!
I pulled this one out of my groin last year. It's probably the third that I've found there now. I've one in my armpit, two at the same time on my chest. I don't know if I smell like a deer?!!
Every time I go out for a weekend's jaunt I give my self a good look over when I get back now...
Nice, I've always fancied a collapsible system. I made a 'quick fix' last week, I'd run out of gas and had planned to take the lad out for walk in the woods.
I found an old tin in the shed that had a few screws in, so drilled a few holes out. It was enough to cook some beans and sausages and...
We might light ours tonight, just because we’re missing the flames.

Merry Christmas!
Wow, thank you. I took this shot whilst riding to work one morning. I'm lucky enough to be able to commute along the Thames here in Oxford. It's great to start a working day having seen Kingfishers, deer, Canada geese etc.
I'll be sure to contact Tony and I'll look forward to checking the...
Voting?!!
I'm trying to find some sort of link/page/ability to cast my vote. Sorry, I seem to be 'that new guy' who hasn't figured out where the coffee machine or toilets are around here yet!
Hi guys, whilst doing a quick search for Oxfordshire I came across this (thread revival). I'd also be interested in any meet ups or wilderness camps. I'm based west side in Eynsham.
Cheers
PS, just checked the links and they're dead nowadays.
Not technically outside, however I found this little guy flat against my conservatory wall. I believe it's a Pholcus phalangioides due to it's skull like face; a part of the cellular spider family.
I didn't see the info at the bottom of the photo (viewing on an iPhone). Still, captured a great expression. Looking through some of these has inspired me to try and get out shoot more. A 9 month old has meant that dawn strolls with the camera has been put on hold for a while. I'll try and post...
