    sorry dont know whereabouts in scotland you are but when i lived in methil , fife there were a few guys had small boats (like rowing boats) who threw a few lobster pots out just for their personal table. they didnt bother about any permissions or anything. kind of annoys me how "the crown" can...

    yeah i agree and also personally find carp fishing rather dull compared to fishng for big wild pike. am desperate to catch a pike on the flea.

    Mackerel fishing hints and tips

    i actually put a "quaver" crisp / salty snack on my hook 10 yrs ago in helensburgh and caught a mackerel with it. quite amusing so it was lol i bet those prawn flavoured "skips" would be great mackerel bait!

    hiya everyone,just signed up these great forums and wondering if anyone could tell me of any waters in west central scotland that have american signal crayfish that i could harvest. no doubt our tastiest pest and i am desperate to catch some! thanks folks!
