    Another myth dispelled

I would have to disagree with you on this one. I find beaver tail to be a not bad taisting meal. The big question I have is what was the temperature like out? I have noticed that beaver tail is almost unpalitable in mid-summer, and the taistiest in late winter. just my 2c worth.

what packs do ppl use for bushcraft??

Alick: Although I dont own a RT, I do own Arcteryx's M30 http://www.arcteryx.com/index_lo.html It has the same role down top. I have used it now for 3 years with no problems. The only negative I have had is that I like to wrap my w/p bed roll on the top of the pack, which makes opining the...

    saw trouble

I have two sugestions that I use. One item I use is a "pocket chainsaw" by supreme products. It sorta like a bycicle chain on steroids with teath. It works well and is fairly cheep and small. Sleeping cloths

I have always been told that it is more comfortable in the buf, so to speak. Most of my hiking partners do that, and so does my wife. They also use ether a fleace or silk bag liner. For the most part the closest I will ever get to being buf in the bush is if my main cloths are wet, than I will...

    Trousers

Sorry to make this my first post. I use German Army Mole skin pants for almost every outing trip I do. This includes Peru, Rocky Mountains of Canada, and Arazona USA. They work well (with under liners) in sub -40 weather. Also work in the (in my opinion ) horable jungle climates. They...
