    cookin eels

Eels are delicious - there's even specialist japanese restaurants that serve mainly eel dishes. (I think the UK exports loads of eels to Japan). Fillet them, or just chop them lie a carrot, dunk them in a mix of soy sauce and sugar and stick them on a griddle. Fantastic.

    Best sharpening stone ...

How about a combination of 2? I've been using a Fallkniven DC3 ceramic stone with a diamond coated plate on the back. It's only about half the size of a credit card (but much thicker) and it works great.

    Small Forest Axe

Whoops, sorry about that, I didn't mean to spark a price war. Sharpening System

You can lay the ceramics flat on the Sharpmaker base (it's set up for this already) and use it like a regular whetstone - so yes, sharpening single bevel grinds is no problem.

    Sharpening System

Get a Spyderco Sharpmaker - a total beginner can put a shaving sharp edge on almost anything (and that includes chisels, scissors etc) in minutes. (note - re-profiling takes a lot longer) It's really easy, relatively cheap and portable. You can add diamond rods for reprofiling (or just tape...

    Spoons

$110 here http://www.cybercarving.com/carvinjack.htm Although 'homemade' looking sites make me a tad wary.

    Folder for bushcraft.

Here's the link to one: http://www.woodcarvingstore.com/FlexcutWoodcarvingTools/CarvingJack.asp It looks pretty cool, but I'd take a SAK or Multitool. (and a spoon LOL) A saw, scissors, pliers etc would be more useful for me than carving tools. JMO however.[/url]
