My OH had it done about ten years ago, (volunteered himself fortunatly) apparently the only slightly worrying moment was when they brought in the two half bricks in case the power went off.

Its a 2001 edition so the CPR protocol has been updated since then, but the rest of the advice is still relevant, its laid out in a clear way with charts showing how to diagnose and respond to first aid situations...

What course are you applying for? It may be that part of the 'test' is to see if you can at least imagine yourself 40yrs in the future and relate why you want to do that course to where you see yourself going in the world.

But the Fiat panda 4x4 is very popular round here where we have high level routes, single track roads, farm and forestry tracks, and plenty of snow in a year.

I've been less than 10metres from one in flight. It certainly made me jump.
I felt pretty exposed out on that hilltop on my own. It circled me three times before I took the hint and cleared off!
Golden eagles are native and not re-introduced.
But Mull also has a population of white tailed Sea eagles which were re-introduced from Norway, and they make the Goldies look crow sized! And have been known to try and catch Red Deer (not sucessfully though).
