Really sorry for the hold up every body, I've been meaning to have a dig through for something that would be of use but adulting is a bit pants sometimes. I have a much loved Olight torch, it's been knocked out of my pocket by other torches now but is a decent little torch

I'm sure a reminder will be enough, although saying that I haven't received my item in the past despite a reminder and just wrote it off as one of those things

    Withdrawn Timberland

With spring assisted it's not like an automatic, you use your thumb to open as normal and it has a bit of help to open it fully. You should be able to feel a little bit of resistance closing it if it's assisted The models I've seen are assisted and thought I'd point it out in case you weren't...

    Withdrawn Timberland

I would probably check if this one is actually legal to own in the UK. If it's assisted opening then it's destined for the bin asap. If not apologies I'll delete my reply

The 'I've found a bargain' thread

Is this post getting a tad off topic?

Government Consultation - Knife Sales: executive sanctions.

That would be the sensible mature solution. What will happen however is a blanket ban making knife sales against terms, same as Facebook with air rifle sales. A ban on sales means no risk to the company, and only a small percentage or users are inconvenienced

Government Consultation - Knife Sales: executive sanctions.

Looks like that will put an end to any Facebook knife groups

Suggestions for a lockable storage shed/workshop I could get asap?

This was going to be my suggestion. Your much more likely to get something secure this way. I had a small metal shed from a decent brand and even cats on the roof would bend it, absolute pish. We moved and left it there

Head to head - Lionsteel M4

Absolutely, I didn't realise that when I bought it! I normally go for a full convex (attempt to anyway) a la bark river, but kept it to a secondary on the m5. I had a t5 but didn't quite gel with the handle for some reason Anyway im going to stop talking sharp stuff, I'm not buying anymore...

Head to head - Lionsteel M4

I have a lionsteel M5 in 3v that was quite frankly useless wood wise with the standard grind. I gave it a convex and it's 10 times better. I give almost all of my knives a convex edge, I prefer it and find it easier to maintain.
