    Felleskap!!

Earlier in this thread there was mention made of the pros and cons of stick & full tang blades and why anyone should ever want to ask a Norwegian Knife Maker to produce a full tang blade. Well as it was I who asked Trond to make a woodloreish blade in the first place I guess I’d better...

    Panic Attacks in woods

Sorry, but what exactly is there in the UK to be scared of ? Try spending weeks in the African Rainforest with all the noises at night and knowing that there are things out there that you ought to be on the watch for……then you might have something to be worried about.

I'm the Tropical sort, work all day in 28 C. heated rooms (full of snakes) and like nothing better to be out in the rainforest or desert.... no noisey kids there! Don't mind rain, just don't like freezing weather! I do spend time out in the UK...offroading in my Landrover.

    Felleskap!!

Thanks Chris, I only asked where you live because I seem to remember you making a comment about Merseyside Police carrying Leatherman Waves. Please can you tell me what size the large tube is that you used for your mosaic pins? I got 3 x 2mm tubes inside a 6mm tube, but you have four....which...

    Felleskap!!

Working on mine right now. Just been down to B&Q again. I am making some mosaic pins from brass tube. If it is of any help 3 pieces of 2x0.3 tube will fit inside a length of 6X0.5 tube. The large tube is about £4 and the smaller £1.49. I picked up the very last piece which was bent to hell so...

    Land Rovers - Top Kit?

“Now a Hardtop”??? That sacrilege if you ask me!!! Light weights (or Air Portables) should only ever be fitted with a tilt (and only then when its cold or raining). Nice looking Landy from what I can see. Regards, Paul (Liverpool Landrover Club Member)

    Felleskap!!

Hello, I’ve just joined this forum. I guess I am kind of responsible for the start of this Felleskap project. It was I who originally asked Trond if he could make me a woodlorish type blade, which he kindly did (mine is trond 01). I made a mistake with my first curly birch slabs so have now used...

    And what's your other job?

Well I’m a Herpetologist. A professional venomous snake handler, caring for the largest collection of venomous snakes in the UK (350 specimens / 50 species). I’m also the only person licensed to extract venom from snakes. I work for a Venom Research Group. Also provided snakes and...

    bushcraft shoes

I have worn the same brand of boots for about 8 years, sure I tried different types but I found good old Caterpillar Boots to be ideal. I’m now on my third pair, the first two pair are still usable. I wear my boots every day for work and play. I have worn them in the Sahara, African...

    Multitools. Any preferences?

Well the first multitool I bought was a SOG Paratool, about 8 years ago. I found that the various blades would fold on you if you applied any real pressure and you would end up getting hurt, especially when the screw-driver blades slip. About 3 years ago I bought a Leatherman Wave while out...
