I'm sure some of you will have seen this as it was posted over on BB, but for those of you who might of missed it
here is a cracking good tale, one of the best things I've read for some time.
http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/hubb/ride-tales/democratic-republic-congo-lubumbashi-kinshasa-53285
It's not really a question relating to this site I know, but I'm hoping
someone here can help.
I'm running Windows 2000 Professional NT. I've only used Win98SE before
and 2000 NT is a little different to what I'm used to.
Well the problem is everything (pictures etc.) looks a bit darker...
I can only see a narrow strip
of the page about 2 1/2 inches
wide.
It has login column to the left
and sponsors to right.
6 1/2 inches in total.
Can't expand it.???
Rest of page is blank except
for the trees in advert at top of
page which goes right across
How sharp should an axe be?
Does it HAVE to be razor sharp to cut at its best?
Would sharp, but not paper slicing sharpness be acceptable?
Would a razor sharp axe dull quicker?
Does it depend on the intended use?
I'm not talking about splitters obviously.
Your views please.
I paid Axminster tools a visit today and fell for a pretty little hatchet.
It's made in Germany (since 1781, so it says) by Ochsenkopf Ox-Head.
The cutting edge is 4.5 inches, it has 800 stamped into the blade.
I think it was the shape of the head that attracted me to it.
Anyone have...
