    yes and no imo - putting ink into your skin to produce 'pretty patterns' is all well and good, and whilst most ancient 'tribes' probably had some form of body-marking i suspect most would have used the skins natural regenerative properties to produce the desired effect... scarrification is...

    Many, Many Mushrooms! (picture heavy)

    although i can't really stand fungus, the Mrs loves it, and after seeing so many different ones whilst out on my travels i'll probably invest in a book to help avoid those 'dont even touch' variety - any recomendations folks?.

    the top two of your second set are fly-agaric (sp?) afaik - not too toxic, but 'interesting' if you dont know whats coming (may send you 'beserk'!)... wise move staying well away unless your a 100% positive of what they are!.
