Just where exactly are we planning on going with this information from a widely discredited source?
Cos to my jaded eyes it leads to anthropogenic climate change denial. Thin end of the wedge but that looks to be where its heading.
What next?
Flat earth?
I've just spotted this on Profabrics site.
I have no idea how good it is or much about it. No affiliation yada yada yada.

Just coming back to this with some footage that popped up on my Youtube feed.
Clearly shows some gamekeepers talking about illegally killing raptors.

Historically the church has sometimes described lighting strikes as a judgement from god.
Problem came when the highest buildings in the land (Churches, Cathedrals and so on) were getting more strikes than the pesky sinners.:)
We have two cats as well, theyrethe reason we got a pup instead of a rescue dog.
We wanted the pup to grow up with cats instead of being fully grown and capable of tearing em apart.
This is Peggy, climbing a telegraph pole then jumping off.
Ha, the mate who gave it to me described it as cotton but I've just checked it with the manufacturer Bell Apparel LTD and its mostly pollyester.
It's still arc, flame and waterproof so most of my comments still stand and its waaaaaay more abrasion resistant than my Ventile jacket.

Err, you do know that the Gore Tex part is just the membrane added to the fabric don't you?
I have a fluorescent green work jacket given to me by a mate who works as a cable jointer, it's got a gore tex membrane so it's waterproof (but properly heavy with weirdly placed pockets) fire and arc...
I realise I'm kind of hogging this thread a bit but this ones almost topical. A couple of days late for Halloween.
This is what we were aiming for...
Frankenweenie
Got one of mine mid jump, he's not quite as musclebound on his back legs as this makes him look, it's just a slightly odd perspective although he's still fairly solid.
I think the main issue is the dishonesty in the way its marketed.
It just isn't waterproof, its showerproof.
When it gets wet it feels wet.
It breaths well when dry but when it's soaked it just doesn't and did I mention that it feels wet on the inside? Thats cos it's wet on the inside.
Now, if...
I have a single layer Ventile anorak (Tilak Odin) a d have to say that in the chucking down rain I have been significantly underwhelmed by it's performance.
It's a nice garment, great in the wind and relatively well vented, but when its wet its pretty gash.
I don't know the actual answer but paper/rag soaked in saltpeter solution then dried acts as a blue touch paper and burns with a fizz.
Or Yellow Pages does anyway cos I did it as a teenager.
Casio Duro?

I have a couple of them, a black one and a blue.
I have pretty big wrists and they don't look too small on me. Many do.
I had to junk the standard straps cos I was on the last hole on em and the mineral glass on the black watch got scabbled at work.
I bought a cheapo...
While we're all being catharic and admitting to not liking popular films.
My wife loves those Lord Of The Rings films.
I've sat and watched the lot and back to back it seems like about ten years of wasted time.
Plus I can't stand the elves, all high and mightly elder tosspots.
Prepared to make...
North Cumbria here and I tend to have a light fleece and then a shell garment (usually a Tilak Odin single layer Ventile smock which is good in the cold, less so when its chucking it down) to keep the breeze from blowing the warm air out of the fleece.
When it's properly wet it's just a gore tex...
Err, I have a standard Peasant with placky handle (in blue) and there's no issues with its strength at all.
If I were to level a complaint at it I would say that when closed it takes up a LOT of pocket space cos the tang makes it very long.
I've filed the blade down so its less that 76mm but...
