Just trying to reduce my bills. Plus my Electric company want to fit a smart meter against my will. Ground mount array is a possibility once I have the garden landscaped.

The companies I have approached only want to do full installs and due to the shape (dorma style) will not fit a cost effective system for them.

It's all about power management Steve. I would only be powering the fridge freezer and some 8watt lights during a power cut so probably a week if I include laptop and phone charging. That doesn't include any solar I can recoup during the day.

I'll have external cables. I have already drilled a hole behind the curtains.

When other companies offer next day/same day delivery and their courier of choice lives up to that promise then maybe but they'll have to throw in a streaming service for free as well. All for £95 a year half that of the BBC Licence. I know what one I'm paying for...

First thing in the morning I use Meths and a Trangia Mini. I like the quiet and so do my neighbours at 0700. During the day if a communal fire isn't going my jetboil makes an appearance.
