    Black oak scandi

    My latest scandi is finished. Scandi blade by Tommy Jimmefors, sweden, in stainless AEB-L. Handle is from black oak(from a ship-wreck in Sweden), birch burl and curly sallow. Coloured sheath from veg.tan leather and hand stiched. Piccies here: Stay safe! Regards, /Peter

    Thanks Fraser for answering that one. I did´nt know... I drill two small holes at an angle, trying to get them to meet where the tang ends. In this case about 2/3 of the handle length. These holes are ment to be drilled slightly inside the tang profile, which I´ve drawn on the side of the...

    Hmmm, I´m guessing that it might look good sometimes. At least I think it does on some knives. Also a longer chord could be put around ones wrist. Remember, I´m just guessing here... ;-) (Please correct me if I´m seriousley wrong)
