Are they anything like the Salomons? I always need the 45 with Salomons. I tried a pair of Lowa Renegades at a local score. The 44 was too small and the 45 was a tad too big, even if I was with thin socks. I have no idea if the lasts on the Renegades and Mountains are comparable

Hi guys I'm trying to choose an axe to complement my Fallkniven F1. I like the Wildlife Hatchet and the Small Forest Axe. The problem is that the SFA seems too big to carry all day long. Is that true? How do you carry yours? I'm not attacking big trees, so I dont need a chop machine.
