Hi everyone, this was my first go at making oak shingles for a small building i have been working on. i think it turned out well. it was alot of work, there is about 200 shingles but i should last quite a long time.

we have been working on this house for about a year now on and off. a total of about 1000 man hours so far. it is in wales and we are planning to live in it in the not to distant future.

my self and my girlfriend have been on our property in wales for a few days working on our roundhouse. we were working on the cordwood walls, and just generally camping and having a good time with great weather.

i Had quite a few people asking me about the tools i use on some of the bowls i carve so i made a video showing what i use. its quite a long video so be warned, but if you are just getting in to carving i would like to think it would be quite helpful.

iv been in the woods today with a mate harvesting some wood for the roundhouse I'm building, what a joy it was to split straight down the middle hardly even had to hit the wedge.

i recently made this coffee table for someone, i was not sure weather it would be something you guys would like but its worth a try, it might inspire someone, it makes good use of a bit of wood that was to thin to do much else with.

i made this wind turbine a few months back, today i added another row of magnets and increased its efficiency. its an axial flux vertical wind turbine. today i span it by hand and generated 50w. I'm not sure what it will do when i get it installed but I'm looking forward to seeing it...

spent 2 days making a door and frame from my woodland home today, it turned out quite nice considering it was just scrap wood. i still need to sand it and oil it. but for now it is done and it will make big difference having a door rather than a flap of canvas...
