To add another breed.. We have had Berman cats for many years. Mainly an indoor cat but will check the outside is still there occasionally. Ours is 16 now. sleeps alone during the ay and seeks us out for a cuddle in the evening.

When we went we managed to find US jungle boots for my wife Size 6 UK. Had to shop around but found some. They were the old style with black fabric upper and the cleats like tractor tyres to grip in wet mud. Worked well although not very light weight!

I agree with Broch We used them in Namibia and they were 'fine' although a pain getting up and down the ladder half asleep in the middle of the night! The other issue i found was the mattress is quite thin/soft and took some getting used to. All OK to use only if the living area is usable...

Another vote for Helinox. We have the One wide design. Not high but you sit diagonally which works surprisingly well. I got ours for half price at one of the NEC shows (compared to the website price)

I used to use 'traditional' size walking stick (around waist height) I've since changed to a longer stick with a shepherds crook about armpit height or even a little lower. I find it's not tiring in use because it's not too high but the extra length can be really useful.

Craghoppers are good. I've taken them to the jungle and cold climates as well as UK. Performed very well. If your pockets are a bit deeper brands like Rab or Rohan also do options I think.

Some people can be very particular about camo. Overly so IMO. I have seen people reject something because it doesn't 'match' the other camo stuff they have. Even on the inside of a coat, some people might not be happy.
