Bloody good idea and the same thinking as me. Looking to take the pack out for short walks to get used to it again. I'm 13 stone in the winter and drop to 12.5 in the summer when I'm working on the garden and regain my fitness .

You can never have too many knives Brizzlebush. I actually own a set of Laguiole steak knives for home use. Excellent quality.

Ok I'm absolutely amazed at this but I've just weighed my kit bag fully loaded without food or spare clothing and it only comes to 13 kg. Maybe I'm not as fit as I used to be

I tend to use an Opinel no 8 for food prep. Probably a different thread of bacho Laplander v silky. I prefer the lapander because it's push pull cut. Still time to order off Amazon or not?
