    What did you buy today?

I nearly said that sometimes you want bits that are softer than the screws! Hope you can get it out well enough. It's probably the loctite that has caused the issue. HAve you warmed it up?

Tai Chi or other types of gentle exercise

The problem is it does depend. Either can be more 'gentle', depending on your metric. Personally I think people need to be mindful of where they get their advice from.

Tai Chi or other types of gentle exercise

My arms feel great after an indian club session.

Tai Chi or other types of gentle exercise

I'm going to suggest you start using indian clubs and then later start to introducing kettlebell(s). Indian clubs for the injury rehab and further mobility as warm up. Kettlebells because they're perfect for exercise snacks for those that are time poor.

Tai Chi or other types of gentle exercise

So I have a degree in Sport& Exercise Science and one of the things discussed was visualisation. I do recall is that Steve Backley the javelin thrower was out for some time with injury but managed to maintain a level of performance by using good visualisation techniques. Weird but then I guess...

    WHAT DID YOU MAKE TODAY?

Similar-ish with photobucket. I think I downloaded them all out before they closed the doors. I still get emails from them suggesting I pay for access back in. "Final chance" " They'll be deleted soon" "Remember these old pics you have" I actually find it a bit amusing to see the begging.

    Charity

This is why I like lendwithcare. You can donate to the charity itself if you wish but otherwise, the payment goes to the person(s) in need.

    Charity

The main one I support is more of a crowdfunding platform. https://lendwithcare.org/ I have a slow steady stream of donations that go here and what I like about this is that it goes to support people to be able to better themselves, they pay back and then I can reinvest it with someone else...

    Swedish Fire Log

I've not had a proper watch of these, just a quick skim to find something that illustrates the ideas:

    Swedish Fire Log

There are other ways to do it, that retain the same rocket stove principal. - Split the log into multiple sections. On one, split off the core and discard. Stand it back together, stick bits inbetween the sections to give some air gaps / stick them into the ground. - multiple round just stood...

    Swedish Fire Log

Ha ha, I've been there too! Realised that it needs a thin edge to catch. I've since done others with a saw. Two cuts down but not at 90 degrees to each other so to wedges were thin and catch easier.

    Plug & Play Solar

It is storable. It's a battery that has connections to direct charge it via solar or mains. It has an app that can control if the panels are charging or changing to feeding into the house via the battery cable. It has to be mains connected to operate correctly but I'm sure your work around...

    Eeek!

    Plug & Play Solar

It does look like it's getting a lot easier to set up - might be a bad thing. I wonder if we'll be seeing a few house fires soon....

Where can I get a long digging hoe?

I've never used one but would a terrex spade be of any use?

    Cooking Over Fire - Books

Hhhhhmm, I have cook on the wild side somewhere. That's pickled my noodle as to where it might be...... Going to have to go searching.....

    Positive news

Pop to Buckinghamshire - we have hundreds. It's the norm to see multiples every day (and I still enjoy watching them!!)

Where can I get a long digging hoe?

Maybe just hunt facebook marketplace / ebay for old mattocks. I think I have an old mattock that fits that description somewhere. Maybe not the long enough handle but then you could make a longer handle. Personally I've switched to the azadaza for my digging with a view that lots of lighter...
