I really struggle with pics of grain but would you say that looks a bit like a pile of sugar? Perhaps a bit of a bad heat treat there - what do you think @HillBill ? The inclusion, I would say is an artifact of the lamination tearing off on one side.

Well the head is in an open shed round the side of the house and the handle is somewhere else but even so, nope. It's a fun thing to play with on occasion. Pop a wanted up.

Searching it up, it's the trail hawk. It's a wooden handle so easy to change the length. Removable head if you like that sort of option. Some great mods out there.

I think it was cold steel who did a good tomahawk. I have one somewhere and it was a fast thing.

Huh, weird. I came across a tritium keyring in the loft last week. All the rage about 20(?) years ago and it was from that sort of time. Definitely quite dim now! I was mildly excited to come across it, thinking I might use it as a marker for something but I doubt it's worth it.
