    Traditional puukkos thicker than you think

    The original scandi knives had thick blades. From museum: 4.6 mm to 6.1 mm for a blade length varying from 78 mm to 117 mm. AKS Puukko from 1935-1942: blade length 96mm, thickness: 6 mm. Not to be confused with Mora ! *Mod note: Posts split off from very old thread about general bushcraft...
