Well my Sodbuster came today. I went for the Shrade Imperial version and I'm surprised at what you get for the £9.95 plus p&p. I thought try this 1 for awhile just to see how I get on with the blade style and maybe then upgrade if all goes well. As for fit and finish the blades pretty well...

I'm thinking of buying a ''Sodbuster'' / Farmhand etc style knife as I've never owned or tried 1 as an EDC. Anyone have any suggestions of a decent 1 on there own usage experience. Cheers

I've been watching some youtube vid's and there are afew saying that the Double wall bottles are a better choice where I get the thinking of the insulating properties. You can't buy them from there site so I think I'm going to just buy the set and the bottle Hanger.

I'm thinking of getting a Metal mug water bottle and cooker nesting set and I've had a look at afew reviews. But I'd like to know if anyone has had experience with both of them ever, just so I have a better way to choose. Cheers

I haven't done a proper yomp with bergen for 20 odd yr's well gone are them days and my back from doing them. I've got a smaller day pack but again thats really abit big for what I would want to take out as I'd wear that slung on 1 strap. Cheers

I've worn my Day sack on reverse / front afew times, but I think I'd look a right tit walking up to the woods wearing just the rig I'd want a Pack on then pull the rig out when I get to my location. Sort of defeats the idea, may have saved myself afew bob.

we used to wear chest rigs while on Cold weather training there great for all the above reasons plus while your on a snow mobile you can get to your grub. I've been watching a few youtube vid's recently on there bushcraft use and the Numbat variants as well these seem to be the best options that...

I ordered a Lumintop EDC01 keychain torch accouple of days ago it came earlier and for the money it seems to be a pretty good torch 3 brightness modes, Cheaper than the Mag-lite I was thinking of buying at the start of the Thread.
