I remember one of them which hade the wire cutter thing but also a catapult.

    Challenge: the worst knife ever?

Not good for battoning. The dragon knife, whose legs are all knives, better for sushi than skinning snared pine martens.

    Challenge: the worst knife ever?

As a kid my friend had one although aluminium handle. It wasn't that bad. The ATAK would be worse. And the giant SAK as well. I kind of like shark knife though. More bad knives, there has to be more out there!

    Challenge: the worst knife ever?

Alright, the best knife has been discussed to death here, let's try to find the worst knife ever! (For outdoors purposes at least). Put image link plus url to where to buy it. Bonus for ridiculously high prices. I'll start out with "Master Cutlery TA-86", a quality knife that is really good for...

    Candle's in tent's

I've used a multifuel stove inside a tunnel mountain tent on several occasions. If you are careful it's not a problem. Would I sleep with a lite tea light in a tent? No.

    Paramo Service

Hold on a minute. Which waterproof can you not repair??? I've gotten repairs on a lot of gore-tex jackets an trousers. And with gores "Guaranteed to keep you dry" I have had a 10 year old leaky Tierra-jacket replaced with no questions asked.

    Traditional kit - Ground Insulation.

I think this statement is wrong. And the whole notion of traditional. Traditionally people didn't travel out of anything else but pure necessity. This travelling in nature as a pasttime is a rather new thing which came with the novelty of leisure time (and money to consume stuff they actually...

    Good boots for wet weather?

For wet weather I prefer wellies or lundhags boots. Tretorn makes a good hiking wellie called sarek and a couple of hunting wellies called setter. I like these better than the classic brand hunter or cheaper work boots, the soles are more built up for walking. Norweigan brand viking also does a...

    Swedish army 25L lightweight daysack

WOW! I have been looking for these for years! These are like the best daypacks ever! We had them in our bergens right under the lid with our 24 hr stuff, they were sort of our mission packs. Incredibly tough for their weight. A big thank you, I will buy a few. :) :You_Rock_

Why are bushcraft knives, and survival knives so different?

Funny though, the ordinary squaddies gets a green mora or (as I was issued with) a plastic red handled mora. Which I rate higher than the F1 anyway. I've heard rumours that the F1 isn't actually issued in the survival kits of the planes any more.

    Swedish Army m59 shirts!

The size (eg. 39) is your neck circumference in cms. But, men in the 50s were smaller and shorter per size than we are today, that's why the sleeves and body is to short. Really good shirt though.

No, it is not antibacterial. There have never been any studies showing that it's antibacterial although some sellers still use this myth. They (sellers) are actually forbidden to say that in the US as FTC looked in to the matter. They are even forbidden to state bamboo as a fibre, they have to...
