Definitely go for XL. Will be more comfortable. All designs will be a bit claustrophobic but it’s just to keep you out of the weather and lighter to carry without the extreme prices for something similar.

One of the lightweight wax cotton jackets or as mentioned above a few times see what others are using/ farmer supplies. Who wear the stuff all day long.
Mine would be the berghaus lightning coat, just above knee length, had one for 20 plus years. Could make it short if you wanted too but full length was always dry in the worst of weather without the need for waterproof trousers.
All post offices fault they returned it to the seller. Never tried to deliver it because no card was left and I was in those weeks due to building works
Sleep under the stars, feel closer to nature the countryside that cocooned in a tent. Tarp still gives an amount of weather protection.
