    Best bushcraft trousers?

Forgot about my army lightweights, like the higher waist and they are comfortable. Just being ex army I find them difficult to wear in public. I do own a black pair with the leg pockets on both sides, can’t remember where I bought them.

Down bags for the bigger person

Personally I would keep the bag you have. Big pack size or not you can’t beat a good nights sleep. I Still use the army bouncing bomb 90 ptn. Down even with condensation and damp in the air can get your bag wet. Summer I use snugpak centre zip, I know not popular any more but great for me

Video to watch is bushcraft stupid

True, never want to batten with my knives, just in case. Also the comments on knives for a certain purpose, an axe foe a certain purpose etc.

Video to watch is bushcraft stupid

Ignore the title and see it through to the end. I enjoyed some of his comments and views and not all but understood another persons point of view about enjoying the outdoors and the commercialism and the history. No need to criticise, worth a watch

    Smart Phones

Personally I hate them. Use the camera more than anything else. Bought one for work and it’s always on silent and gets switched off in the evening and weekends. My iPad is just used for here, researching knowledge or YouTube only. Beats the Tv. My children are addicted to them, can’t do...

    Lofty Wiseman Survival Team

I watch that regularly for the memories all the time. Spoke to his mate on the programme along time ago about the show. Simple but fun. BBC so budget probably low.
