This is a bargain for a very capable and roomy tent. I've had mine on Islay with a 40 - 50 kt wind and this thing just took it. If you buy it get a footprint for it. Good luck with the sale.

Kifaru's gear pods are now like hens teeth. I dislike strapping stuff to the outside of the pack (not pods) it usually because of the noise but also the weight of the kit swinging around on my back. It looks untidy and I accept that it's incredibly judgemental but I think it looks terrible.

I did this about 10 years ago. I used them in accordance with the relevant instructions. The military glass mirror, I didn't have at the time, is good but I always feel it's fragile. The Starflash wins in my books.

I use the blocks and the gel in wee titanium cups, about the size of a small espresso cup. The residue is like semi hard wax and comes off no bother. A bit of soot like substance which again comes off in the wash. Handy to have in a brew kit or as a fire starter in we conditions.
