The Austrian KAZ O3 is the most civil looking plain olive field uniform system that's available as military surplus. Otherwise you can look for navy uniforms that are available in dark blue, black and sand colour.
Scandinavic, Swiss and German equipment was grey and is still available, but if...
Might be interesting to see a few guys sitting naked and alone on a Scottish meadow playing with a ferro rod.
I think I would like it, especially if it rains a bit.
The German army Flecktarn Goretex suits are good, robust, relatively light, usually sold in good conditions and are relatively cheap. Flecktarn though, what's the German forest camouflage pattern.
35 years ago we were sitting in the garden around a camp fire and burned also short pieces of construction wood. In the beginning I put a pot onto three concrete bricks, later pulled them out, but they still were close enough to stay hot.
Well, and after a few hours I grabbed in the dark such a...
I wouldn't buy a Mora knife that costs more than a Garberg but has a less good steel. For the price difference I would rather buy additional an ash wood chair or a few German or Austrian hatchets with ash handle.
In between Morakniv informed the clients that it's the same steel as always before.
Also the steel in most or all other Mora knives is recycled nowadays.
I think that the stainless Morakniv Garberg is the best choice for you because it is as good as indestructible but otherwise the blade isn't too thick for an all purpose knife. The handle is very ergonomic and durable.
It performs better than the F1 in my opinion which is a good knife without...
For that amount of money you are surely much better served if you take a Brisa, Helle or Casström knife. The similar models are even cheaper but much nicer.
Casström offers an oak handle No10 that's priced very sensibly.
I guess Morakniv had a look what Fjällräven is doing and want to try out...
I think the Lightfighter is the right choice for you. In your position I would search for a way to get it. At first I would write to the maker.
Another option is Tipik, that's a French custom tent maker who specialises in lightweight tents. In this case you just need to find the fabric...
Olive blends very well into green or brown natural surroundings. You need to hide such a big thing behind a bush anyway and then it doesn't matter.
Shadows of branches will also draw a camouflage pattern onto a plain olive tent.
There are several real military tents on the market though used or...
I don't see so many tasks were a usual Mora Companion would work better than an Opinel No8 Carbone.
Nobody in France has a Mora, all is done with the Opinel.
They tend to split their fire wood with a hatchet though.
