    Emergency Bleed Kit

Cut resistant gloves and sleeves certainly will not prevent a stabbing wound, however you can grasp a blade with cut resistant gloves at least and cut resistant sleeves can be worn discretely and would at least protect your arteries from bleeding out. I am going well into paranoid territory...

Who was the genius who conned us into believing we need a fixed blade knife for bushcraft?

Oh honestly! I have had a fixed blade knife since my teens, and of course folding knives before that. I had a fixed blade knife long before I ever heard of any of these bushcraft personalities and before I had heard batoning was a thing. Does not mean I did not have an axe or two too.

    Emergency Bleed Kit

I think probably the best thing I could do in such a situation is not interfere with anyone who knows what they are doing and be willing to take instructions.

    WHAT DID YOU MAKE TODAY?

I am making a lamp standard using a piece of less than perfect wood, but the interest in it is carving out the rot and leaving an interesting shape behind.

    Fad items of Bushcraft

I dunno but I have gone the whole length with the Polish tent thing but I would not call that a fad and feel insulted here. The Ikea hobo stove though and Czech bedroll maybe. Volcano stove? Who me?

    Imgur blocks UK access

I am not a fan of the Black Belt Barrister as his politics to me seem to be rather right wing, however I have enough concerns about this to have signed the petition, and if the PM ignores that he is on a very sticky wicket. What I am personally concerned about all this is it creates an...

    Imgur blocks UK access

I entirely agree, mostly because the current AI models are heavily US biased and trained on US data, ask for information about Birmingham and it will default to Alabama.

Responsible behaviour as the world changes.

Incinerators have been banned on our allotments, on the pretext that if a lot of people were using them all at once there would be considerable air pollution. we are still permitted barbecues though.

    Buffalo clothing - Ben Fogle

Rohan clothing lasts forever I have several items in my wardrobe including the iconic bags, it's selling point was that it is very packable, something you can't say about Buffalo.

    Buffalo clothing - Ben Fogle

Buffalo was functional but not fashionable I expect it will be made in China, and go the way of all good things.

Wheres all the knife makers gone off of bcuk

Let me rephrase that. We don't collect knives but we do tend to accumulate them. (rather like canteens, but that is another story)
