Water Mint (Mentha aquatica) Leaf tea is a good one and of course Pine needle tea.

Collect some of that fallen trunk as well mate as once it's been attacked by the fungus, I find the wood is good for bow-drill hearths ;) You can also dry the decaying bits of fungus and then light them and use them as insect repellent around your camp.

Well done mate :You_Rock_ This is a really good read. One tip from me........ Don't discard the spore tube section of false tinder fungus. Cut it into thin sections, scrape the surface as you would Birch Bark and then spark onto it. It burns very well and quite slowly. [/IMG]

I was surprised at the amount of Wood Sorrel at the Achray site a couple of weeks ago.

Roll them between your thumb and forefinger first to remove the stings;) I've found that this will only works well in spring when the leaves are young.

It has a sweet citrusy, nettle flavour. The after taste is similar (but not as strong) to eating nettle leaves.
