i wouldnt bother with a batetry bank, if you have a torch that acts as one ( sofirn IF23 is what i use) , but there are also now usefull battery banks that are also pocket warmers, and also sometimes rape alarms.... one of those shopping bags that folds up on itself, very handy to have in...

Well ive got a grappling hook in a pouch on my belt! when im working or cycling, i have a belt with various molle pouches, its undergone loads of changes, lots of posts in ealrier pages of this thread. so it is a bit of a batman utility belt!

I may have said this in an earlier post, but i remember cycling in May years ago, sunny in morning and I was wearing short, by the afternoon it was snowing..... missing last bus and walking home, sudden downpour, weather is a big issue even in urban environments

ive found if i quarter turn when not using, when i turn it back on, the autolockout has gone...which is fine for me so ive got either manual lockout, or auto....

i do as well, just after i got it i purned the pouch it came in i think you can turn off the auto lockout, but its easy to quarter turn the end....

That sounds familiar, but I wasnt willing to get something of similar price and risk bricking, the IF23 is rather excellent, the side cob light cannot be underestimated in usefullness....

a small PSK tin for emergencies would be limited, a larger survival kit however obviously far more usefull this reminds me of several scenarios involving my kits... might have mentioend earlier in thread...while cycling across the city at uni, on way back from lecture. had small kit, think it...

Any water based activity does change things as it drastically changes both chances of losing gear underwater, and becoming wet and exposure being an issue, so an emergency kit then is vital...but not everything in a PSKtin, like Minotaur said fishing kit.

nothing wrong with carrying PSK, and often the contents are backups if main items die or go missing, main thing is generally otehr non PSK items work better, so PSK only ( ratehr than raiding a PSK) is rare in UK, as we geenrally have other kit, or wait for other people to help or throw money...

ive got some of those tins still, did have one as a fak and also a psk when i was younger. my belt FAK is similar but ina capsule...pills, plaster, compressed towel, needle, tampon....and shemagh on bigger pouch kit...
