    Strangely enough i watched a YouTube video last night of a guy I follow Eric Normark he does a lot of winter hikes, he wears a thin pair of wool socks, then plastic bags then a thick pair of wool socks, the outcome is warm damp foot and dry boots, just make sure to dry wet feet of a night time...
