    Once you start it's not too bad, things that you can't control give the biggest issues, for me its traumatic events at work, they often cause a bit of a wobble.

    It's been a good while for me now, 15ish years. Have I given up smoking nope, Im just not smoking at the moment. I found for me that gave me less pressure as I hadn't actually stopped. do I still get cravings? yes do I miss it, yes! have I fallen off the wagon, very occasionally. but not enough...

    I switched to an ALICE pack, with a polymer frame. A fair bit of ventilation. And for me very comfortable with a load.

    Not got a tarp from Outhaus, but I have a couple of bits from them, seems to be very well thought out and really well made kit. Also, I can't see any on the website that are not polycotton, so not exactly plastic free. Louis

    Help sharpening a Woodlore

    As far as I am aware, all the Alan Wood Woodlore blades had a slight convex from the maker. sharpen like a Scandi and it will all work out just fine.

    @saxonaxe A 2oz baccy tin comes up about 2/3rds of the way up, it is almost to tight to squeeze a double stack of two. Mag for scale, should fit a pair in each (if that helps with sizes)

    Sizewell b is still off line, if there is a sniff of the energy demand reduction scheme (EDR) being used that tells you that we are getting close. And yes, no power means nothing operating at all.
