    If my wife and I go away, we always carry two car keys, one each, just in case and have done so for years and always have bottled water in the car and can get warm this weather though.

    Handy tip, in regards to your documents , car, home, life etc and any other relevant docs, I’ve taken photos of the front page, it’s details of serial numbers addresses and telephone numbers and uploaded to the cloud for storage in a folder to find if I need it so always on hand!

    Pocket boy is expensive, Amazon do a cheap version, I bought one for my fishing gear, to be honest it’s not bad, £6.99, not silky quality though.

    My father had a similar story which he told us, at the end of the war, he and partner in crime came across a factory and liberated a bolt of silk to bring home. Method, simple between them wrapped it around their bodies like cling wrap. They flew back in a Dakota, every one else were freezing...

    Recommend me a Butchery / skinning knife...?

    Outdoor edge do a butchery lite kit in an all in one pouch. I’ve used mine now for past 15 years an excellent bit of kit, has boning knife, skinner/gut hook, caping knife (excellent for rabbits etc) and bone saw.

    I use Abu Garcia reel, 8lb line, small tackle box, contains small assortment of weights, floats, shot, a few lures and traces along with hook to nylon, sizes 6 to 18 in size. Why hook to nylon only for ease, I do have a couple of packs of eyed hooks, if I loose the hook but keep the leader I use...

    I’ve two myself now, the other is the infinity both very good rods. Use mine as I cycle to my regular fishing holes, spoilt living in Norfolk and where I live.
