    The missing cooking skill

It just be me but briquettes always seem a bit like cheating with this, I fully understand if you're cooking for groups of people it's predictable but does seem to lack a certain something.

    Good stuff of the day

My students from last year recently presented me with a large wooden board where they'd all spent time listing the ways I'd improved their lives and thanking me for the work I'd put in. I'm just trying to figure out where to hang it from now.

    The missing cooking skill

For me it's temperature control to get reproducible results. I've baked cakes and bread, cooked roast dinners, lasagne, pizza, etc but every time is slightly different. I need the practice to get a consistent heat each time.

New site - Bugs, Feedback & Questions

I'll have a look. There is a dark version of this theme but before I install it I need to make sure it takes the settings from the parent theme, otherwise it's back to editing multiple themes.

What's on your Christmas Wish List?

I quite fancy a Schrade Old Timer Splinter for a bit of whittling practice when out and about. I'm also looking for some wireless headphones for running with, maybe a canvas style day bag that's slightly more discreet than yellow Osprey.

    Goulash Paddle. The perfect gift.

Wayne's lucky that it will most likely also suit him as a spare canoe paddle...

New site - Bugs, Feedback & Questions

I'm looking into options at the moment but having two seperate styles means I need to edit and configure everything twice is becoming quite unwieldy. For the time being I'm going to have to stick to this template only until I work something else out.

Steve if you fancy downloading and zipping them, email them over and I'll upload them, I'm pretty sure they're copyright free. If not I'll have a go later this week.

Putting them in manually is easy but it has to be done one by one. I've been trying to find packages to upload in bulk. Added a few more any way :bag::devilish::panda::whistling:

OK a few more smilies now, not as good as some of the animated ones we had before though. I'll keep looking.

That's high on my list, I just need to find a collection to import.

New site - Bugs, Feedback & Questions

I don't know the answer to the like button at the moment but I'm going to play Devil's advocate for a minute. If we click Like instead typing thanks, does that keep more relevant content in a thread rather than diluting it with Thanks? I do see what you're saying and I will look at whether we...

New site - Bugs, Feedback & Questions

Yeah I'm still trying to decide what to do with the default setting. The trouble is it's a different template which means changes like that won't transfer from UI.X across without quite a bit more work. I either have to go through and brand the default template then add changes such as Recent...
