Is a leatherman skeletool legal carry?

Just for clarification, if you look at the reports that aren't written from the defendant's perspective it does look like he's a total bottom and brought the arrest on himself through his rather jumped up attitude.

Is a leatherman skeletool legal carry?

Technically the locking saw blade on that model is still illegal. I think even the awl is pushing the legal carry status too.

Is a leatherman skeletool legal carry?

No the offense is carrying a knife without good reason. It's not always an offense to be carrying a knife as woody suggested but you will be challenged as such if stopped for any reason. Usually you would be expected to be able to justify the reason to a policeman when challenged and would only...

    Snowmegadon UK?

We've had a dusting down to 1100ft here but we're just below that level. It's now mizzling and not really looking like snow weather.

Is a leatherman skeletool legal carry?

I think that part was a direct quote from the police statement. It's misleading either way though.

Is a leatherman skeletool legal carry?

Actually that's not true (or shoudn't be). In UK law you are always innocent until proven guilty. Knife laws should be applied as such and it's up to the prosecution to prove your guilt not for you to prove your innocence. Obviously no one wants to go to the hassle of having to go to court to...

    Displaying my Cowrie collection.

I saw this on ebay earlier and thought of this thread. Not a game I've heard of before but could make an interesting DIY project and the counters can be anything you have as long as they're about the right size...

pigeon with bulged out black exploded out eyes?

I'd say head injury. It's surprising how large bird eyes can be. In some birds they take up a huge proportion of the skull. Peregrine falcon eyes are supposed to be bigger than human eyeballs but I don't know about pigeons.

    cabin near a lake/stream wanted

Well it's no where near the North west but I know of a trout reservoir here in South Wales that has a very basic little bothy on the banks. I'm not sure about permits etc for the fishing but google is your friend. You have to walk in and walk to get wood if you want a fire but the remoteness is...

    Be careful out there folks

A treasure hunting Youtuber I follow posted up the video below today. In case you don't want to watch he goes into the woods with some friends to dig out an old bottle dump looking for old or collectable bottles, each to their own right. Sadly a couple of members of the public reported seeing...

    Ex-Rowan

There are cultivars of sorbus that are bred for decoration with different coloured berries or leaves. I imagine they graft them onto root stock to maintain the clone of the donor plant as they wouldn't grow true from seed.

    Rain, rain and more rain....

Remember the drought only a few months ago? Hose pipe ban threats and hill fires. I don't care though, I've been stuck in the office too much for the last month so any excuse to get out while I've got a couple of days off will be welcome. My roof is leaking though so a bit less rain would be...

    Sky Fall...

There was a news story last year I think about a kid in North Wales who had a favourite toy nicked by gulls. Someone found it in their garden and returned it eventually. Buggers will steal anything.

    Small hatchet

I see your location is Wales. If you're anywhere near Crickhowell there's a charity based there called Tools For Self Reliance and they usually have a decent stock of restored hatchets and axes.

Ghillie kettle is going to get on the telly.

Sorry I missed this. It was the Easter 2016 group buy I think. It's a pin hole leak in the base seam I think but it only really shows when it gets hot and water starts to bubble out of it. It's never affected the function but if there was an easy way to fix it I might have a go.

Ghillie kettle is going to get on the telly.

Will it explain why mine seems to leak around the base a bit?
