Hi all,in the cemetery where my dad is they have cut down a lot of pine trees,I was wondering if it is any good for caving spoons or maybe a kuska.I have carved a few spoons before but have used sycamore and Hazel with happy results. Cheers Andy.

Good write up as usual mate,when I got home I realised how much the mozzies and other bugs,flys love to munch on me.The repellent and the fire must of took the worst off tho.Looking forward to our canoe camp trip next month.

Some fjallraven trousers come in a raw length,which means you have to cut and sow up the leg to suit you.I own a pair of Barrents that I love,fortunately I was able to pop around my mums to get the turn ups sorted.Not sure if this is with all fjallraven trousers or just them ones.

A secondary bevel is stronger than a scandi grind,less likely to chip and if it's hair poping sharp and you can keep it way,no worries.
