I also live in an area which has thick clay mud with lots of rocks. The best tool that I have found for breaking up the ground to make it easy to dig is a 60" long wrecking bar. It's a 5 foot solid steel pole with a sharp spike on one end and a large flat chisel-like shape at the other. I've...
I use an Elmax Fallkniven F1 and love it. It's a great option if you want 'compact' survival/bushcraft knife but it's too small and lightweight to be an effective chopper. It can chop in a pinch but it will take a lot more time and energy compared to a bigger knife.
If you're after a good all...
Ahh. That's not so bad in that case then. It seems the radio only told me half of the story.
Although I do still wonder about gradual 'mission creep' over time with this kind of online privacy thing.

I read a comment on Youtube once from someone who knowingly bought a Chinese fake Fallkniven F1 from AliExpress to compare it to a real one. Turns out it was actually a really good knife. Not quite as good as the original Fallkniven but still virtually identical and had 95% of the performance...
Backed beans would be a definite first place! :D
The other four places would be soups of various varieties. Whatever you like the taste of best but go for good quality thick ones with plenty of vegetables and meat rather than the watery varieties of soup. Thick ones will generally be more...
2 x Jack Pyke Sherpa fleeces.
I got the hoodie last week and have just ordered the matching zip up jacket today. They're not quite as warm as a Buffalo Special 6 but they still feel plenty warm enough when worn under a Keela Munro jacket so will do for now. The quality seems pretty good for the...
Just a quick update. The Buffalo Special 6 in a size 38 which I bought on here (hughtrimble has been an absolute gent to deal with btw) was slightly too tight under my armpits so I'm still on the lookout for either another Buffalo Special 6 but in a size 40 or a Snugpak SJ9 jacket in a size...
I didn't recognize that grade so had a look on the interwebz and couldn't find any mention of it. Do you mean a HB grade pencil? (that was always my general go to pencil in school)
