I have an idea of something like that based around a sled so you could have a waist belt and just walk normally.
The big thing that stops the idea is stiles and kissing gates.

I am making 3 set ups at the moment based around this ridgeline and jungle ties in three materials. Nano paracord with micro paracord, Micro paracord with paracord and a hemp version.
I agree PotatoHead that is what I was sort of trying to say as well.
The fishing kit is not a lot of use in the UK however other things are carried however they tend now to be part of my Bushcraft kit.
