I've not seen a specific lid for the Belgian mug yet in my years of surplus kit diving. Never say never though!
There is an eBay seller "woodlorien" who makes nice lids for crusader mugs & various mess kits like the Yugoslavian ones. Might be worth a shout. Items are made to order so it takes...
Seconded. One of the most interesting courses I've been on, some years back though! Got to do the scenarios on the crags above Capel Curig.
A fellow student fitted the Rescui Anne track suit, which worked well with the mullet and scouse accent. There may have been wee taking.
I admit to being interested. I think people have reported the original stove being more robust than you would expect so I hope changes don't effect that.
My pet theories are:
1) Different internal foil (but I think they had sourced the original).
2) Resized or changed to fit other pots...
An update has just been sent out from Flexistove.
They are close to shipping the pre-orders. A new website with details is going to be launched.

If I was going for a Banshee I’d go for the 300. But this is a bit over speced for a solo user. I just happened to be looking at them at the time I posted.
1) Those who stay collected and functionally “present”. Able to respond effectively.
3) Instinctive flight of fight mode, no reasoning. Outright active panic, or the “lights are on but no one is home” passive panic. Plus they can switch between them.
The three second thing..
I think bit goes a bit deeper:
1) people who are just less likely to panic
2) people who can be trained to follow a response
3) people who will always revert to instinct
Might be worth looking at Vango as a brand. They do turn up cheap on eBay.
I’ve just been considering Banshee 300’s to replace current DofE ones but they do some compact single person tents.
I’ve seen self heating smart mugs for £30 and up. I believe they will do 55c not sure what battery life is like.
I’ve never tried the Adventure Nutrition alu heating elements. They seem like a more user friendly version of the MRE heater.
What are your sewing skills like? A basic pyramid isn't to hard to do from a couple of plash palatkas or such as donor materiel. You can buy mesh inners with a plastic floor pretty cheap.
