I tend to wear Thorlo military socks with wellies. They are long socks and don’t fall down.
I have some soft shell fleece trousers that bunch up easily in wellies. They seem to push my other socks down.
A couple of field voles (I think) ran over my boots when walking along the edge of the edge of the North Downs. Cracking day.
Saw a Hare in the woods on Monday, which was also a nice day. Heavy rain and wind in my neck of the woods tomorrow. Should be interesting.
If I had to pick one set then pretty much my daily wear as it has all been darned or repaired and still going fine.

• a shrouded cutter (blade can be replaced)
• slot to grip the loose end of the cord
• space to hold a lighter
• a hanging point
Paracord winders Atwood Ready Rope verses Boonies Spool Tool.
Comparison of two models of paracord management tools.
Orange one on the left is the Boonies Spool Tool. I’ve seen it marketed under the Colcolo brand name too.
Black one is Atwood Rope Manufacturing Ready Rope.
I have a couple of the para cord reel things with cutter, lighter holder and such. Are they a fad?
Nothing you can’t do with a home made winder of course.
