What do you lot do for a living?

About 200 people. We doubled in size and tripled in turnover in the last few years. Biggest issue we have is staff turnover and training people. As usual Deming is 100% right when he says 94% of the problems are system issues. Management wanting to ship, ship, ship and not focusing on root cause...

    Customs seize slingshot

That’s the thing. I’ve had plenty of customs payment requests. Thin is the first were it was seized under article 34. Very weird. I’m writing to them asking why it was seized and we’ll see what the response looks like.

    Homemade Jerky

It’s got me considering buying a biltong box or dehumidifier. I’m a bit of a snacker so assume would be healthier than a packet of crisps.

    Withdrawn Archery. Bow Press

Yeah, the j-bracket of the bowmaster should do fine. If not it’s designed the fit behind the cam in the V of the limb but you need to be careful and gentle when pressing.

    Withdrawn Archery. Bow Press

Hi Dale, You need to specify the type of bow limbs you are pressing. If it's a beyond parallel bow then you'll need to invest more than say for a Hoyt made in 2000.

    Axminster tools

Always had good interactions with them. Their own brand tools are normally good quality at a good price. I’ve had Jet lathes, their own “seig “ type engineering lathes and sanders etc for them, never a problem.

    Storm Éowyn

We had it fairly rough here, but I lucked out and had no damage to roof etc. Plenty of trees down and power outages.

    What did you buy today?

Another two pens. Skillcraft B3 aviators recommended by Marcus O’Brien on YouTube. Arrived today and well worth the Amazon.com price tag. Not sure if the UK price makes them worth a punt.
