    Ive got a meaco air conditioner, its marvelous...never thought we would need one in the UK, but makes the bedroom sleepable in the baking days of summer have a little free standing dehunudifier which gets used on the bathroom when its cold, otehrwise window open the dehimudier helps get water...

    well my house has got 2 to 3 ft thick stone walls but normally tile roof attic, fibre insulation then plaster ceiling......so more like if your already wearing a coat, you still need a hat. but to use the coat analagy, lots of people say about venting clothing in winter to prevent moisture...
