    Hi all, I have some old SAKs with stainless steel blades which are a bit tatty. What do you chaps and chapesses use to clean and polish blades?

    I took a wardrobe apart yesterday and used an SAK saw to cut through all of the dowels, which saved me using my more usual club hammer technique. I have also used the saw to cut hazel for making tarp clips.

    Longer technical waterproof - walking / day to day

    That is not unusual, have you dried drizabone? I had one for years for dog walking, bit heavy and stiff to start with but once worn in they are great except the crap hood. I live on the coast and the rain normally arrives with a driving wind so waterproof trousers suit that.

    I am missing something? when it is raining why not wear waterproof trousers? Berghaus Deluge are light, waterproof and easy to vent with the full length zippers and pop studs.
