I have 2 old english made poles from an old ridge tent. 15mm diameter and 116cm long in 3 sections, really lightweight. They have the longer ends on to accomodate the inner tent and fly sheet but an easy job to trim everything down to suit. let me know and i'm sure we can work out a deal on...
I guess you're on about the biscuity ones from the north? I whizz normal oats for my oatcakes (see signature) in my food processor that I aquired from Freegle (was freecycle) and it works a treat.
Got mine today at lunch time within 24 hours of ordering. I am very impressed with this EDC survival kit and the instruction sheet is very informative and well laid out imo.

I agree. Are the scout hammocks not shorter than the regular ones?
I have a travel hammock and pitch the foot end slightly higher than the head end so I don't gradually slide down to the point where my feet sometimes hang over each side. Try pitching with a higher foot end.

I have 4 standard guy lines on my tarp which enables me to deploy my tarp quickly. I then tinker to suit once I'm weatherproof, with extra long day glo guy lines I got from tesco for pence, or paracord.
