Another chime in from a Varanger 8-10 owner - I have the full kit and never take the inner tent with me. With hindsight - I would not have purchased it. Outer is sufficient for most of the outings.

The Finnish Skrama https://www.varusteleka.com/en/product/terava-skrama-bush-knife-carbon-steel/28025 is in my posession as well. I think that this one deserves a bit more attention.
For the pack-weight and price it offers a lot in terms of functionality next to a small knife.
Was it already mentioned that they are excellent for reaching the bottom of the Peanut jar as well? Good in-and outdoors knif. :)

Some good info there as well. I own several of these, one larger Villager in active use as the fireplace/garden firewood splitter - which it does very well. Versatile tools.
Thanks for the info. I have one in RWL-34, 4mm and wanted to add a used one in 2/3 mm O1. Fantastic jack-of-all-trades knives. Someone should grab this.
