    Really Useful Boxes.

For info this is an 84L box from Homebase for £20. I have a selection of others for the back of the Landy, however I’ll be adding to them over time to help keep kit sorted and stowed I’m a orderly fashion. I’m sick of shopping bags for my kit.

    Really Useful Boxes.

I did look at those with the fold down lid, unfortunately the factory shop where they make them is closed at the moment. They are about a 20 minute drive from my house! I wasn’t thinking of using the big one for storing food, I have a selection of smaller ones for that, and once in camp they...

    Really Useful Boxes.

Have got back from the moot a few days ago, and still wading through the randomly packed bags and boxes, I have been looking at streamlining my kit packing. I’m pricing up a few more Really Useful Boxes for kit, and just wondered if anyone has adapted a large one for use as kitchen storage. I’m...

    The world's gone mad (again)

I have managed to talk myself into hosting a discussion on knife laws at the moot. My intention is to bring a objective view on the carrying of, use of and why they can have a bad press, I will try get hold of some photographs so please bear this in mind for the younger ones. If they do come...

Seasoned and chopped firewood at the Moot

I think it would also be a good gesture of all the folks who visit the naughty corner of an eve to chip in for a tonne or so of wood. I know the people who “live” there spend a good bit of time every day splitting rounds cut by Shelly and Tony, for others to enjoy later that night.

    Fjallraven smock number 1

Ive been making bits and bats over the last few years, and really want to make a similar jacket to the No°1 Smock. Can anyone help me with where I can get a suitable pattern, I’ve looked all over, but just can’t seem to find anything. The closest I’ve found is the Pennine Outdoor 27 jacket...
