Well I took my geraniums in off the doorstep today and hid them in the shed.
They already took a frosting on the tops but not too serious I hope.
Sometimes they survive the winter, other times not...
Getting a real nippy frosty feeling about it this afternoon though.
I feel a Game of Thrones...
A £20 note in one of those little capsules and a small carabiner to hang my keys off a belt loop.
As long as I go out the house wearing trousers I know where my keys are.
So far so good...
One of the reasons for not putting my keys in a pocket is that I have stuff in there I don't want...
The thing about fungi is, it is very difficult even impossible to know what kinds are growing until they fruit.
If they fruit at all.
You may have dozens of edible fungi on your property and never see a single mushroom :|
All you can do is try and create the right conditions, maybe introduce...
Have to say, I have no problem with serial numbers on knives. Nor really with providing my ID when I buy one.
On the other hand it is difficult to see what it might achieve other than creating more bureaucracy.
Criminals have a bad habit of not obeying the law and will disregard it all anyway.
Absolutely is.
It can be hard after a days work when you are cold wet and tired but the day isn't done until the tools are cared for.
Used to drive me nuts on the farm when I had to spend an hour or more fettling tools and machines before I could even get started on what I wanted to do.
And...
I keep a can of spray grease in the shed and all tools get a squirt when I put them back in.
This bit about transferring oil and or grease to the work is a little OTT in my opinion, unless you are making high class furniture, but if you are still worried about it there is a very simple...
Pretty sure there is good burning in bamboo, but probably best if split lengthways beforehand and maybe even the pieces bundled into faggots to make for convenience.
That's the problem though, it is rotten stuff to split and handle, the edges are razor sharp.
On an industrial scale I could see...
Trout permits for a few of the local lochs available from McCowans tackle shop in Castle Douglas.
Definitely worth a stop and a chat or an email... http://www.mmccowanandson.com
Our rivers now are mostly horribly overfished and in grossly mismanaged.
But take a trip up to some of the wilder and more remote country on the West Coast of Scotland, the fish in the rivers there are so hungry they will literally jump out of the water to take a fishing fly caught in the...
Ethanol (bio or otherwise, it is all the same) is hygroscopic. Meaning it will absorb water from the air.
I suspect the older it is the more chances it has had to do this. Which could explain sputteriness and lower heat.
I loved the way the German criminal system treated people as responsible adults. If you didn't want to behave responsibly, you got a hefty fine until you got tired of paying through the nose and started acting responsibly.
They definitely have, there is no requirement to carry a can of fuel but if I remember correctly there is a hefty fine for running out of fuel on the autobahn.
Perhaps because the nearest garage is 20 miles away so a 40 mile round trip.
Perhaps because you are not the only one using the vehicle.
Perhaps because you are sick and tired of replacing bits on the farm Landy that isn't yours in your own time and at your own expense.
There could be dozens...
Wood naturally yellows when exposed to sunlight. That beautiful white colour rarely lasts but oils certainly dont help. Tung oil is supposed to oxidise. No oils are totally resistant to this either but for food stuff I would recommend olive oil.
Short answer, yes you are but yes they should be suitably approved.

Not sure this is true. I lived there for 10 years and even took an HGV test there in the 1990s, never heard of such a thing.
Anyway back on topic, always had a can in the back of the Landy because you never knew if the gauge was working properly and those things are a pig to push even to the...
