Do you have one Robbi? I have a few other Mora's (Companion, Comp HD, Robust, Eldris and a really old one from 20+ yrs ago with the blade stamped 'Frosts of Mora') to compare it to. I like the full cover sheath, seems a good shout for a secure/discrete carry, and cost about £30 on its own...

I have one. I think I was given it so don't know the price. The metal is very soft, I don't think the edge is tempered at all, so whilst I did get it sharp once (after a lot of re-profiling) it lost its edge very quickly. Seems strong though - good for hammering pegs!

Yes I think so. Fishing or canoeing are good reasons, for me. Everday-wise, I only ever have a SAK or small Leatherman (non-locking).

With UK Knife Law being so restrictive on fixed/locking blades I was thinking of carrying my smallest hatchet (0.5kg head, 34.5cm handle) in my rucksack along with my Silky and SAK, that would see me through anything I need to do as I never actually fell trees - but am I legal carrying the hatchet?
