    What is wrong with people

In 1840’s London maybe. Not 10-15 years ago! :D

    What is wrong with people

I’m not sure if it is simply a lack of amenities due to council cost cutting or whether something else that has changed within our towns and cities. A different mindset maybe? - A Lack of empathy? - in this case happily allowing people to step through your excrement. Is this change in mindset...

    Buschcraft, fishing and PTSD

With regard to fishing and bushcraft specifically then yes, absolutely. We are meant to do these things. We were doing them for thousands of years before the stresses of modern life entered into the human equation.

    Buschcraft, fishing and PTSD

I think getting out in the countryside in the fresh air, whether it be enjoying some peace and quite or a physical activity is nigh on crucial for us. It’s only very recent in the human time line where we now stick ourselves inside our insulted houses in front of a screen for hours per day. We...

It is Painfully obvious men are committing most of the violence! I was assuming this was an adult conversation. :banghead: I’ll try to put in a safe and insular way for you: If the TV remote is chewed and it’s lying in a dog’s bed when I find it - do I blame the cat or the dog? If the...

Licensing for Knife Sellers or Importers

My point is if you look at ALL the relevant data, including the disclosed per capita data and not just the fluff the mainstream media wants you to know, then the police can ascertain who is more likely to commit a violent crime in a given area. I know it’s a bitter pill for some to swallow, but...

We should remove all prejudice and bias and simply study the facts, figures and review every piece of gathered information that is available to us, whether it be government reports or per capita disclosures et. Then take the necessary action. I cannot think of a better way to combat this kind of...

A violent criminal willing to stab someone isn’t going to be dissuaded by a law put in place by a Westminster, box-ticking, invertabrate - a “person” who doesn’t really care because it doesn’t effect them in their insulated community and just wants the credit doing something, no matter how...

    Drawknife recommendations

Thanks people. I’ll look into these recommendations. Don’t mind a bit of old tool restoration if it helps keep the price down

    Wooden Chopping Boards

Retrieve boards from a fallen sycamore using woodcraft tools and skills. Make sure Sycamore isn’t a landmark tree located in a gap or summit. Ask owner for permission to cut board from sycamore. Select a sycamore because of anti bacterial properties and doesn’t taint food. If you cannot do any...

    BACON!

I think the right bread is just as important for bacon butties as the bacon. Soft and White - the fresher the better, dabbed in a bit of bacon fat for good measure but not soaked to the point of inducing immediate heart failure. Perhaps the smallest smidge of HP sauce depending how crispy it is...

    New from maker of Sissipuukko.

Not too sure if it has a secondary bevel or not but I am kind of intrigued by the hardness; a stated 62 HRC is higher than I would expect this steel to maintain good toughness, but I’m certainly not complaining.
